2026 Charm Weddings Toilet Paper Derby Hat Contest

MODEL/APPEARANCE RELEASE

(For anyone modeling a hat in photos to submit with entry)

For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, I authorize Charm Weddings (“Sponsor”) and their affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, successors, and assigns (individually and collectively “Sponsor and Released Parties”) to make use of my appearance for the Contest. I acknowledge and fully understand that I am in no way a contestant in the Charm Weddings Toilet Paper Derby Hat Contest (“Contest”) even though I am assisting a contestant by modeling the entry.

I agree that you may photograph and tape me, and record my voice, conversation and sounds, including any modeling and the performance of any musical composition(s), during and in connection with my appearance and that you shall be the exclusive owner of the results and proceeds of such taping, photography and recordings with the right, throughout the universe, an unlimited number of times in perpetuity, to copyright, use, reuse, modify, and to license others to use, in any manner, all or any portion of such recordings or a reproduction thereof, in connection with the Contest, and any derivative works based upon the Contest. For purposes of clarity, I expressly waive all moral rights I may have in connection with my appearance.

I further agree that you may use, may reuse and license others to use my name, voice, likeness, and any biographical material concerning me, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised in connection with the Contest, any derivative works based upon the Contest, and in the promotion, advertising, sale, publicizing and exploitation of the foregoing, and otherwise, throughout the universe in all media, an unlimited number of times in perpetuity. I further represent that any statements made by me during my appearance are true, to the best of my knowledge, and that neither they nor my appearance will violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party. I shall indemnify you and hold you harmless from any liability or claimed liability in connection with my appearance, materials furnished by me (if any) and/or any words spoken by me in connection with the Contest.

I hereby waive any right of inspection or approval of my appearance or the uses to which such appearance may be put. I acknowledge that you will rely on this permission potentially, at substantial cost and hereby agree not to assert any claim of any nature whatsoever (including without limitation, claims based on invasion of privacy, violating religious practices or beliefs, fraudulent inducement, defamation or right of publicity) against anyone relating to the exercise of the permissions granted hereunder and in no event will I have the right to seek or obtain injunctive or other equitable relief. Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to obligate the Sponsor to exercise any of the rights herein granted.

Except as authorized by Sponsor, I will not, or authorize others to, receive or generate any monetary advantage from my appearance in the Contest.

I understand that confidentiality is of the utmost importance for this Contest, and I will not use or disclose to any party any information learned because of my participation in the Contest, including, but not limited to, in any media format whatsoever (including without limitation, social networking sites, e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) until the Contest is over. Disclosure by me in violation of the foregoing shall constitute and be treated as a material breach of this Model Release which will cause irreparable harm to Sponsor, and such disclosure could expose me to serious legal liability.

This Release shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, and I agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the State of Florida. Any controversy or claim relating to this Release (“Claim”) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the State of Florida without regard to Florida choice of law rules. All Claims shall be submitted to final and binding arbitration, to be held in Broward County, Florida. This agreement cannot be terminated, rescinded, or amended except by an agreement signed by the parties. I warrant that I am at least 18 years of age and that I have the full and unrestricted right to enter into this agreement.
